Strafford kids ages 5 through 18 play baseball and softball through the Barrington Youth Association (BYA), in the following levels:

Instructional, Ages 5 and 6
- Rookie Baseball, Ages 7-9

Rookie Softball, Ages 7-9
- Cal Ripken Baseball, Ages 10-12
-
U12 Softball, Ages 10-12
- Babe Ruth Baseball, Ages 13-15
-
U16 Softball, Ages 13-16
- Senior Babe Ruth, Ages 16-18
Teams are comprised of both Strafford & Barrington kids, which presents a great opportunity to meet new friends from a neighboring town. The season runs from April into June, with All-Stars for those who want to play at a higher competitive level. Practices take place in Barrington & Strafford. The majority of games are played at the wonderful BYA Athletic Complex, located on Smoke St in Barrington. The complex features 7 fields, restrooms, and the BYA snack shack where you can feed your whole family for under $20!
Watch for registration in February, then oil up that glove & let’s PLAY BALL!
