Over the past couple of years, fundraising efforts made it possible for SRS to replace our equipment shed, to help fund baseball dug-outs at the Strafford School, to help with renovations of the outdoor basketball court, also at the Strafford School, and to help fund a new tennis training wall at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy.
Thanks to Don Clifford & others who volunteered their time to build the shed, to Eric Locke who made the dug-outs happen as part of his CBNA Senior Project, to Brett Grenier who brought the basketball court back to life as part of his CBNA Senior Project, and to Derek Carlson who made the tennis wall happen as part of his CBNA Senior Project.
SRS has also recently helped the Strafford School baseball & softball programs by funding new equipment, wind screens for backstops, and protective cap for the outfield fencing.
Fundraising events occur throughout the year, with our principle event taking place in the spring in the form of a 5K run/walk at Bow Lake.
Thank you to past & present board members, sponsors, volunteers, participants, and to students from Coe-Brown for making this such a fun & successful annual event!
