Strafford Rec at Gunstock
So really, how many recreation programs are organized enough to offer a ski program? SRS is baby! We’re entering our 10th season at Gunstock & the program keeps growing & growing.
The program runs on 4 Sundays in January and February, with a 1 hour lesson for all kids each of the ski days. This program is designed for the entire family. Adult chaperones are needed to make this possible, and they also get a fantastic rate! Don't ski? ... not a problem. There are always parents/family members who choose to hang out in the warm, cozy lodge, so come join em inside - you'll still have a great time!

Basketball Players~ There will be a skills assessment for all that have signed up for grades 5 through grade 8, next Saturday, November 12, 2011. Grade 5 & 6 girls will be 9:00 to 9:45am; grade 5 & 6 boys will be 10:00 to 10:45am; grade 7 & 8 girls are 11:00 to 11:45am and grade 7 & 8 boys are 12:00 to 12:45pm. All of these assessments will take place at Strafford School. Make sure to have mouth guards and basketball sneakers. See you there!
Parents of Basketball Players ~ We are still looking for volunteers on Saturdays to work the clock, keep the score book and monitor the gym during games. ALSO~ we are in NEED of coaches. Remember, NO COACH, NO TEAM! Please email Torri at tar3664@metrocast.net to sign up.
